ST. PAUL, Minn. – The first contests of the UMAC Men’s and Women’s Golf seasons will begin next Friday, August 29. With the start of the season just a week away, here’s a preview of six key UMAC contests you won't want to miss.
UNW Invite
- Tuesday, September 2
- Keller Golf Course (St. Paul, Minn.)
- Hosted by University of Northwestern
- All 14 UMAC teams will compete in this event
Twin Ports Collegiate
-Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 6-7
-Nemadji Golf Course (Superior, Wis.)
-hosted by UW-Superior
-10 of the 14 UMAC teams will compete in this event
UMAC Preview
- Thursday, September 11
- Pebble Creek Golf Club (Becker, Minn.)
- All 14 UMAC teams will have the opportunity to play the same course they will be competing on later in the year for the UMAC Championship.
Viking Invite
- Friday, September 26
- Crow River Golf Club (Hutchinson, Minn.)
- Hosted by Bethany Lutheran College
- The first of two back-to-back meets for 12 of the UMAC teams in the final weekend of the regular season.
MLC Invite
- Saturday, September 27
- Oakdale Golf Club (Buffalo Lake, Minn.)
- Hosted by Martin Luther College
- The second of two back-to-back meets where most UMAC teams will have one final opportunity to directly compete against each other prior to the championship.
UMAC Championship
- Thursday-Saturday, October 2-4
- Pebble Creek Golf Club (Becker, Minn.)
- All 14 UMAC teams will compete in three rounds for a total of 54 holes over the course of three days.
- The top finishing team for the men and women will each earn the UMAC’s automatic qualifying bids to the NCAA Championships held in May 2026.
