Northwestern moved into first at the UMAC Men's Golf Championships after Day Two

BECKER, Minn. – Northwestern moved into first place on the team leaderboard at the 2026 UMAC Men’s Golf Championship after the second day of competition on Friday at Pebble Creek Golf Club with its two-round score of 614. The Eagles hold a six-stroke lead over UW-Superior (620) and seven-strokes over Bethany Lutheran (621).

Steven Dimmel of Crown and Andrew Slatten of UW-Superior are tied for first among all individuals with 147s through two rounds.

Notes:
  • Dimmel and Slattel each carded 71s Friday to tie the fourth-lowest 18-hole score at these Championships.


The Final Round the UMAC Championship tees off at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.
