Edwardsville, Ill. – The Greenville University Panthers (13-6, 4-0 UMAC) clinched the 2025 UMAC Women’s Tennis South Division Championship on Friday with by winning the UMAC South Division Tournament. The UMAC South Division title is the first in program history for the Panthers.

In the semifinal match against Westminster, the Panthers won four singles matches by 6-0 sweep to secure the 4-0 win.
In the championship against Webster, Greenville took two of the three doubles matches. Addison Brannon and Lanie Carder won their #2 doubles match 6-3. Callie Adkins and Lily Gregory swept the #3 doubles match 6-0.
Up 1-0 after doubles, the Panthers won three more points in singles to secure the championship victory. Emily Kowalke won her #4 singles match 6-4, 6-2. Brannon won #2 singles 6-3, 6-0. Irlanda Oliver took #1 singles 6-2, 6-3 to round out the match for Greenville.
With the championship victory, Greenville has clinched the No. 1 seed of the South Division for the 2025 UMAC Women’s Tennis Tournament. The conference tournament, a four-team tournament hosted at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis, begins Friday, May 2 (semifinals) and concludes Saturday, May 3 (championship). The tournament champion will receive the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the 2025 NCAA DIII Women's Tennis Championship.
