ST. PAUL, Minn.—The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announces the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) officers for the 2025-26 academic year.
The UMAC SAAC provides student athletes with an active role in the governance of the Conference. It is made up of two student athlete representatives from each of the UMAC member institutions. Committee members are expected to represent the viewpoint of the student athletes on their respective campuses and to serve as a vital communication link between the conference and its student athletes.
A secondary role is to enhance the image of the student athletes both on campus and in the community. In this manner, the UMAC SAAC is committed to engaging in campus service projects and to serving as positive role models for their peers and younger athletes.
The 2025-26 UMAC SAAC officers:
- Chair: Riley Ping, Bethany Lutheran
- Vice Chair: Mari Corotan, UW-Superior
- Secretary: Jhazlyn Wynne, Minnesota Morris
- Social Media: Brian Dahlstrand, North Central
Ping is on the women’s golf, soccer and track and field teams at Bethany Lutheran.
Corotan is a member of the women’s soccer team at UW-Superior.
Wynne is on the women’s soccer team at Minnesota Morris.
Dahlstrand is on the baseball team at North Central.
