BECKER, Minn.-- The University of Northwestern and Paige Johnson of the Eagles broke three UMAC Championship records during the second round of the UMAC Championships Friday.
Northwestern carded a 327 on the day to break the previous 18-hole team score of 328 set by UNW at the 2023 UMAC Championships. The Eagles finished with a two-day score of 662, to best their previous 36-hole Championship mark of 669, also set in 2023.
Paige Johnson shot 79 on the day for a two-round score of 157. This broke the previous 36-hole score of 159 that she and teammate Morgan Eckman previously set last fall.
Northwestern continues to stand atop the leaderboard with its 662, and Johnson continues to lead all individual competitors with her 157.
The final round begins at 10 a.m. Saturday.
