BECKER, Minn.—The University of Northwestern won the 2025 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Women’s Golf Championship with its three-round score of 986. This was the third-straight title and fifth overall UMAC Championship for the program. The championship took place October 2-4 at Pebble Creek Golf Club.
Paige Johnson of the Eagles was the individual medalist with her score of 239.
With the Championship, Northwestern will represent the UMAC in the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships, May 19-22, 2026 at the Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif.
Notes:
- Northwestern set a new 54-hole UMAC Championships record with its 986.
- This broke the old record of 1014, which the Eagles set in 2023
- UNW set a new 36-hole record with their 651, which broke their own record of 662 set yesterday
- The Eagles carded a 324 on the day to set another 18-hole record, which they set in the second round of the current Championships
- Johnson’s 239 set a new UMAC Championships 54-hole record
- She broke the mark of 241 set by Morgan Eckman last season
- Johnson broke the 36-hole scoring record Friday, which again bested Eckman’s mark set last fall
