Northwestern and UW-Superior tie for team title, Swanson wins playoff at UMAC Preview

BECKER, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference hosted the UMAC Men’s Golf Preview on Thursday, September 11 at the Pebble Creek Golf Club with athletes from all seven teams in the conference competing. Northwestern and UW-Superior tied for the team title with each carding a 300. Jakob Swanson of the Eagles shot a 72, and won individual medalist honors as he won the two-player playoff.

  • UW-Superior and Bethany Lutheran both had two competitors finish in the top 10
  • Julian Bhardwaj of Bethany Lutheran had a hole-in-one on hole #4
  • This marked the second-straight year this event had a playoff for the individual medalist honors.
