PAUL-- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced their All-Academic Team awards and Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 academic year. Northwestern and UW-Superior earned the All-Academic Team Award, and 11 UMAC student-athletes were named to Scholar-Athletes. ITA All-Academic team award winners: Northwestern UW-Superior ITA Scholar-Athlete honorees: Sam Majerus, Northwestern Isaac Thomforde, Northwestern Sam Kettelhut, Northwestern Ian Barber, Northwestern Griffen Jarchow, Northwestern Caleb Jergenson, Northwestern Yash Chhabra, UW-Superior Marcos Labella Parrilla, UW-Superior Vitor Sasaya Sakakibara, UW-Superior Brandon Chu, UW-Superior Sree Sharan Kanugovi, UW-Superior To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must meet the following requirements: Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year Be listed on the institutional eligibility form To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must meet the following requirements: Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), All student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form, and All varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year
