2026 UMAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Awards

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2026 women’s outdoor track & field awards on Wednesday. The awards are nominated and voted on by the UMAC track & field head coaches. Only results from the UMAC Outdoor Championship meet count for consideration in the awards.

Camille Ring of Crown earned the Top Scoring Athlete of the Meet award. She scored 31 points as she won the 100m hurdles, took second in the 100 and 200 dashes, was on the second-place 4x100m relay team and took sixth in the long jump.

Lindsey Morrison of Crown was named the Track Athlete of the Meet. She won the 400, 800, was on the winning 4x400m relay team and took fourth in the 1500. Her 800 (2:14.32) and 4x4 (4:00.77) times set  new Championships records.

Jordan Ohman of Minnesota Morris was named the Field Athlete of the Meet. She won the discus throw and hammer throw titles at the UMAC Championships, and took fifth in the shot put and seventh in the javelin.

Alaina Wojtowski of Northwestern was selected as the Rookie of the Year. She won the 100, 200, and was on the winning 4x100m relay team at the outdoor Conference Championships.

Crown coaches earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors. The Polars, led by head coach Grant DeWitt in his third season, won the UMAC Outdoor Championship for the second-straight year and second time in program history with a 185-point performance.

Martin Luther won the team sportsmanship award, an accolade that is selected by the UMAC coaches and awarded to the team that best represents sportsmanship throughout the entire season. Each team also had one representative earn all-sportsmanship honors.

All-Conference recognition is given to individuals who finished in first, second, or third place in an individual event and to members of relay teams who finished in first place in a relay event at the UMAC Indoor Championship.
