ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2026 women’s indoor track & field awards on Wednesday. The awards are nominated and voted on by the UMAC track & field head coaches. Only results from the UMAC Indoor Championship meet count for consideration in the awards.

Camille Ring of Crown earned the Top Scoring Athlete of the Meet and track athlete of the meet awards. She scored 40.5 points as she won the 60m dash, 60m hurdles, the 200, was on the winning 4x200m relay team and took second in the long jump.

Samantha Kedsch of Bethany Lutheran was named the Field Athlete of the Meet. She won the long jump and triple jump titles at the UMAC Championships.

Alaina Wojtowski of Northwestern was selected as the Rookie of the Year. At the indoor Conference Championships, she finished second in the 60 and 200, and was a member of the runner-up 4x200m relay team.

Crown coaches earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors. The Polars, led by head coach Grant DeWitt in his third season, won the UMAC Indoor Championship for the second-straight year and second time in program history with a 194-point performance.

Northwestern won the team sportsmanship award, an accolade that is selected by the UMAC coaches and awarded to the team that best represents sportsmanship throughout the entire season. Each team also had one representative earn all-sportsmanship honors.

All-Conference recognition is given to individuals who finished in first, second, or third place in an individual event and to members of relay teams who finished in first place in a relay event at the UMAC Indoor Championship.
