2026 UMAC Men’s Indoor Track & Field Awards

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2025-26 men’s indoor track & field awards on Wednesday. The awards are nominated and voted on by the UMAC track & field head coaches. Only results from the UMAC Indoor Championship meet count for consideration in the awards. 
 
Jeremiah Stanton of Martin Luther earned the Top Scoring Athlete of the Meet award. He scored 39 points as he won the long jump and triple jump, was on the winning 4x200m relay team, and placed third in the 60 hurdles and 400, was on the third-place 4x400m relay team, and placed sixth in the high jump at the UMAC Championships.

Ethan Bowe of UW-Superior was named the Track Athlete of the Meet. At the UMAC Championships, He won the 400 and was on the winning 4x400m relay team, and placed second in the 60m, 200, and on the second-place 4x200m relay team.
 
Carson Wilhorn of UW-Superior won the Field Athlete of the Meet award. He won the weight throw and the shot put at the UMAC Championships.
Kyle Peterson of the Yellowjackets earned Rookie of the Year honors. He won the 60 hurdles and 200m and was on the winning 4x400m relay team. He also placed second in the 400m. His 60m hurdles time (8.32) set a new UMAC Championships record.
 
The UW-Superior coaches earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors. The Yellowjackets, led by head coach Glen Drexler in his 16th season, won the UMAC Indoor Championship for the 10th year in a row with a 264-point performance.
 
Martin Luther won the team sportsmanship award, an accolade that is selected by the UMAC coaches and awarded to the team that best represents sportsmanship throughout the entire season. Each team also had one representative earn all-sportsmanship honors.
 
All-Conference recognition is given to individuals who finished in first, second, or third place in an individual event and to members of relay teams who finished in first place in a relay event at the UMAC Championship.
