SUPERIOR, Wis. - This Friday and Saturday, the 2025-26 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Championship will take place on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior at the Lydia C. Thering Fieldhouse in Superior, Wisconsin. All seven conference teams will be competing for the conference title.
Notable Championship History
- Last season, UW-Superior won its ninth overall and ninth-consecutive UMAC Indoor Championship. The Yellowjackets earned the 2024-25 title with a 242-point performance as a team. UW-Superior took the gold in seven of the 17 events.
- Martin Luther finished as the runner up to UW-Superior last season with 184 points. MLC had five event champions.
- Three new UMAC Indoor Championships records were set a year ago:
- 200m: Jesse Ortiz (UW-Superior), 22.43
- 4x200m relay: Martin Luther, 1:30.95
- High Jump: Isaac Weiers (North Central), 2.02m
- Two individual event champions from last season hold the top mark in their event this winter heading into the championship. UW-Superior's Jason Thomas looks to defend his title in the pole vault while junior Jeremiah Stanton aims to three-peat as Triple Jump champion.
