MORRIS, Minn. – The Martin Luther College Knights won the 2025 UMAC Men’s Track & Field Outdoor Championship this weekend. The Knights led the conference with 234 points. The outdoor title is the first in program history for Martin Luther. Nine of the 20 total events were won by the Knights.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets finished as the runner-up, taking second with 212 points. UW-Superior had taken eight of the past nine outdoor championships and had won each of the past three years. The Yellowjackets' three event champions were the third most at the meet.
 
The Crown College Polars rounded out the top three team finishes with 118 points. Seven events were won by the Polars, which was the second most at the championship.

Prior to Martin Luther’s victory this year, the last current UMAC member apart from UW-Superior to win the outdoor conference title was the University of Minnesota Morris in 2011.
