ROSEVILLE, Minn.—The No. 3 seed University of Wisconsin-Superior (11-7-4 overall) won the 2025 UMAC Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 victory over host and top seed Northwestern (11-6-3). The tournament title is both the Yellowjackets' fifth in program history and their fifth-straight.
The game was scoreless through the first half. Kamryn Hill made it a 1-0 game with her goal at 53:24 on an assist from Brynne Crystal.
Hill was named the UMAC Tournament MVP for the second consecutive year.
This is the first time the three-seed has won the UMAC Women’s Tournament title since Minnesota Morris did so in the 2016 tournament. The Cougars defeated No. 1 seed Northland 2-0.
With the UMAC Tournament victory, UW-Superior has earned the UMAC’s automatic bid and will advance to compete in the NCAA DIII Tournament starting next weekend. The Yellowjackets will learn their opponent and destination during the NCAA Selection Show Monday morning.
