SUPERIOR, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets (15-7, 11-1 UMAC) won the 2024 UMAC Women’s Soccer Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 4-0 victory over the Bethany Lutheran College Vikings (9-7-3, 8-2-2 UMAC). The tournament title is both the Yellowjackets' fourth in program history and their fourth in a row.
Kamryn Hill gave the Yellowjackets a 2-0 lead in the opening half, scoring in the 10
th and 25
th minutes of the championship game.
Tori Vosburg added to UW-Superior’s lead in the second half, scoring in the 76
th minute to make it 3-0, Yellowjackets.
Niya Wilson added a final goal for UWS in the 83
rd minute and the Yellowjackets’ defense would hold the Vikings scoreless the rest of the way to secure the 4-0 victory and the tournament title for UW-Superior.
Quinn Clark had five saves in goal for the Yellowjackets to earn the shutout victory in the championship.
Hill was named the UMAC Tournament MVP.
With the UMAC Tournament victory, UW-Superior has earned the UMAC’s automatic bid and will advance to compete in the NCAA DIII Tournament starting next weekend.
