BECKER, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) is ready for an exciting three days of action at the Women's Golf Championship set to begin at 11 a.m. this Thursday at Pebble Creek Golf Club. The tournament runs October 3-5 with the winner earning the conference's automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA DIII Championship in May 2025.

Championship History
- The University of Northwestern Eagles won last year’s championship by shooting +150 as team; the best team score in UMAC Championship history by 21 strokes, surpassing the 2020 St. Scholastica Saints previous record.
- In the 2023 championship, the Eagles’ Morgan Eckman won medalist honors as the Individual Champion with a score of 245 (+29) in her first collegiate season.
- Northwestern has won two of the past three championships with titles in 2021 (+209) and 2023 (+150). The University of Minnesota Morris Cougars won the 2023 championship (+233).
- Since 2006, Northwestern has the most championships among active UMAC members with five. Minnesota Morris follows with three.
2024 Season Highlights
- Northwestern won the UMAC Preview with a team score of 348 (+60). The Eagles had four athletes finish in the top ten overall.
- Shelby Cash of the Crown College Polars earned medalist honors at the UMAC Preview, leading the conference field with a round of 83 (+11).
- Of the four events this fall for UMAC teams, the Northwestern Eagles won three. The Crown Polars (339, +51) won the most recent this past Saturday with a two-stroke victory over Northwestern (341, +53) at the MLC Fall Invite.
- Northwestern had the lowest team round this fall with a 324 (+36) at the Midwest Region Classic.
- Morgan Eckman had the lowest individual round this fall with a 74 (+2) at the NCCAA North Central Regional.
