PAUL, Minn.---Each week on Thursdays, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) will highlight one student-athlete who serves as an integral member of their institutional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in the "UMAC SAAC Spotlight." At the institutional, conference and national levels, SAAC represents the Division III student-athlete voice and provides opportunities for student-athletes to be actively engaged in their campus communities. |

What are your roles within your campus SAAC group?
I mainly help organize the student section and theming for games.
How did you get involved in your campus SAAC?
I’m a captain of the lacrosse team and was nominated to join.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of SAAC?
I really enjoy seeing more and more people showing up to games. It really brings a great positive atmosphere to all of the teams.
What has been one of your favorite SAAC initiatives or activities?
My favorite thing is sporting events so far. The games have gotten more exciting and competitive.
