PAUL, Minn.---Each week on Thursdays, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) will highlight one student-athlete who serves as an integral member of their institutional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in the "UMAC SAAC Spotlight." At the institutional, conference and national levels, SAAC represents the Division III student-athlete voice and provides opportunities for student-athletes to be actively engaged in their campus communities. |

What are your roles within your campus SAAC group?
Secretary
How did you get involved in your campus SAAC?
I was recruited and then eventually became the secretary. I wanted to help make leadership decisions while aiding with the organization of events.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of SAAC?
Working with all unique types of people, like students, staff, and the community. Also, hearing and creating new ideas.
What has been one of your favorite SAAC initiatives or activities?
Organizing the Halloween Can Drive! Also, DIII Week.
