ST. PAUL, Minn.---Each week on Thursdays, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) will highlight one student-athlete who serves as an integral member of their institutional Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in the "UMAC SAAC Spotlight." All About SAAC
What are your roles within your campus SAAC group?
Campus Vice President (2019-2020); Campus President (2020-2022); UMAC SAAC Vice Chair (2021-2022)
How did you get involved in your campus SAAC?
I transferred from a different campus and was previously on their SAAC team, and I wanted to join and help out my campus SAAC team right away since I enjoyed it from my previous campus.
What do you enjoy most about being a member of SAAC?
My favorite part of being a member of SAAC is working with other sports teams and connecting with them as a community to improve our campus and city .
What has been one of your favorite SAAC initiatives or activities?
My favorite SAAC initiative is when we go to a mission center and prepare meals for the unfortunate. It's a great way to not only help out our community outside of campus, but for us to work together as a group and see we can accomplish something meaningful outside the court or field.
