UMAC All-Decade Teams and Teams of the Decade
All-Decade Teams and Teams of the Decade will be announced on Thursday throughout the year during the corresponding seasons. Individuals and teams are nominted by each conference institution. All-decade teams will consist of the top student-athletes and one coach in each sport. Student-athlete nominees must have been all-conference at a current UMAC institution at least one season from 2008-09 to 2018-19 to be considered, while coach nominees must have one at least a conference or tournament tiele once during the same time period. The top team in a sport from one year of competition will be selected as Team of the Decade. A committee of members from UMAC institutions will select the teams. Below is a schedule of the announcements for each sport:
- Fall: Men's Golf (Sept. 6), Volleyball (Sept. 13), Men's Cross Country (Sept. 20), Women's Golf (Sept. 27), Men's Soccer (Oct. 4), Women's Cross Country (Oct. 11), Football (Oct. 18), Women's Soccer (Oct. 25)
- Winter: Women's Basketball (Jan. 10), Men's Basketball (Jan. 17)
- Spring: Men's Track and Field (March 14), Women's Track and Field (March 21), Softball (April 4), Men's Tennis (April 11),

UMAC Senior Series
As part of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) "10-Year Celebration,” the UMAC has announced the launch of the 2018-19 Senior Series which offers senior student-athletes an opportunity to participate in friendly competition alongside fellow UMAC athletes and celebrate the completion of their collegiate careers.
The UMAC Senior Series will be the only event of its kind currently being offered in Division III and will provide seniors an opportunity to practice and compete with players from other UMAC teams, work collaboratively in community service projects and celebrate academic and athletic achievements at a banquet with a keynote speaker. UMAC coaches will work collaboratively to lead pre-game practices and in-game competition. This opportunity will be available for men's and women's basketball in the winter.
UMAC 10-Year Service Awards
The UMAC Service Awards will honor those who have helped the UMAC achieve success and who have assisted in advancing the UMAC in its growth and development during its first 10 years as a NCAA Division III member conference. Recipients of these awards will be announced March 12, 2019, and honored at an awards banquet March 25, 2019 at Martin Luther College.
