ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) student-athletes are in contention for the Division III Commissioners Association (D3CA) Men's/Women's Sport Student-Athlete of the Year awards. Marley Aune, from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul, and Greg Ohman, from the University of Minnesota Morris, are the UMAC nominees for the women’s and men’s award, respectively.
The award honors graduating student-athletes who have excelled in academics, athletics, leadership, and service. Graduating seniors (or a graduated student-athlete that has not been nominated before) are the only student-athletes eligible for this award.
The male and female regional award winners will be announced later this month. Those individuals will be forwarded to the Awards Committee for national consideration.
This marks the fourth year for this national award.

- Help with RFC home-school co-op class (Individual volunteer opportunity, facilitated through athletics)
- 2x one weeklong mission trips to Guatemala and Jackson MS
- SAAC events-tip night at Pizza Ranch (Fundraiser to support SAAC activities)
- Parade of Lights (represented UMM in the Morris's annual Thanksgiving parade)
- Help community members move (each fall the football team helps students arriving on campus move into the dorms)
