SUPERIOR, Wis.—UW-Superior won the 2025-26 UMAC Women’s Basketball Tournament in the 78-51 win over North Central Saturday afternoon. The tournament title is the fifth in the Yellowjackets’ program history and their second in a row.
UWS led 21-9 after the first quarter and never looked back.
Maddie Reott led all scorers with 23 points and was named the Tournament MVP. Two teammates joined her in double digits as Abby Johnson had 13 points and Megan Schafer had 12. Johnson was just shy of a double double with a team-best nine rebounds.
Two Rams had double figure as Moriah McLendon and NiNi Davenport scored 15 and 10 points, respectively.
UW-Superior will learn its game site and opponent during the NCAA Selection Show Monday at 1:30 p.m.
