UW-Superior's Anderson selected as UMAC nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year

ST. PAUL---Each year the NCAA recognizes outstanding female student-athletes for exceptional achievement in the areas of academics, athletics, service and leadership with the Woman of the Year award. This year, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) has selected Jenna Anderson from the University of Wisconsin-Superior as the conference’s nominee for the 2024-25 award, the UMAC announced Thursday.

Anderson emerged from a talented pool of seven UMAC student-athletes – who were nominated by their respective institutions – and will move on to represent the conference in the next stage. From there, the Woman of the Year selection committee will choose the top 30 honorees which includes 10 women from each division. From the top 30, three from each division will be announced as finalists. The NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics chooses the final winner that will be announced at the 2026 NCAA Convention in January.
