ST. PAUL, Minn. – University of Minnesota Morris Cougars football student-athlete
Christian Diederich has been named an awardee of the NCAA 2024-25 Postgraduate Scholarship program.
Diederich is one of 42 student-athletes in the nation across all three NCAA divisions to receive the award, which is given to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, athletic excellence, and leadership within their communities.
Established in 1964, the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship program promotes and encourages graduate education by recognizing the Association's most accomplished student-athletes. The program evaluates candidates on their athletic and academic achievements, campus involvement, community service, and leadership. An equitable selection process ensures that all nominees, regardless of sport, division, gender or race, are considered fairly.
The UMAC is an NCAA Division III member comprised of eight full-time member schools from Minnesota and Wisconsin: Bethany Lutheran College, Crown College, Martin Luther College, North Central University, Northland College, University of Minnesota Morris, University of Northwestern, and University of Wisconsin-Superior.
