Over the past two weeks, Nielsen shot 23-of-30 from the field and 15-for-17 from the free-throw line.
Nielsen is the third UMAC men's basketball athlete to make a D3hoops.com Team of the Week this season, joining Pal Dak of the University of Minnesota Morris Cougars and Cade Carroll of the Crown College Polars.
The Vikings next compete on Saturday, January 6 at Martin Luther College starting at 1:45pm in Mankato.
