St. Paul, MN - The outdoor track and field season wrapped up over the weekend, with Wisconsin-Superior winning the 2023 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The Yellowjackets earned two of the major postseason awards, with Garrett Lynch being named the Field Athlete of the Meet after winning both the pole vault and the long jump, and finishing fifth in the high jump. UW-Superior head coach Glen Drexler was also named Coach of the Year after leading the Yellowjackets to their sixth UMAC title in seven years.

In the other major awards, Austin Carlson of Crown was named the Track Athlete of the Meet after he won both the 800-meter run and the 1500-meter run. Finally, Anthony Staryszak of Minnesota Morris was named Rookie of the Year after his performance where he won both the javelin and the discus and took seventh in the shot put..

The all-conference list includes individuals who placed first or second in an event and individuals of first-place relay squads.
