UMAC Softball Player of the Week
  • Jordyn Heckendorf (Martin Luther) – Kewaskum, WI
    • Heckendorf went 13-17 (.765) at the plate last week.
    • Had a home run, 5 runs batted in, and 4 runs scored on the week.
 
UMAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
  • Kayla Senne (Bethany Lutheran) – Northwood, IA
    • Senne threw 32 innings, allowing just 8 earned runs and striking out 36.
    • Picked up 5 wins to help extend the Vikings win streak to 20 games and became the school record holder in career wins with 42.
 
UMAC Baseball Player of the Week
  • Alex Baumann (Minnesota Morris) – Howard Lake, MN
    • Baumann was 8-13 (.615) at the dish last week for the Cougars.
    • Also stole 6 bases to become the school record holder in that category.
 
UMAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
  • Matt Rieger (Martin Luther) – New Ulm, MN
    • Pitched a complete game shutout against Minnesota Morris.
    • The win gave Martin Luther their first conference victory of the year.
 
UMAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
  • Izayah Boss (Minnesota Morris) – Bothell, WA
    • Finished 5th at the Ron Masanz Classic in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.93.
    • That time leads the UMAC by more than three-tenths of a second.
 
UMAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
  • Cody Nye (Minnesota Morris) – Soldotna, AK
    • Nye set the school record in the shot put at the Running on Hope Open with a throw of 15.88 meters.
    • That throw leads the UMAC and was 4th in the event with only Division I throwers in front of him.
 
UMAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
  • Maya Habben (Martin Luther) – Flagstaff, AZ
    • Habben finished 4th in the 1500 meters with a time of 5:11.62.
    • Tied her own school record in the steeplechase with a time of 12:27.08.
 
UMAC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
  • Emily Ashton (Northwestern) – Camas, WA
    • Ashton won the javelin at the Roder/Bolstorff Invitational at Macalester with a distance of 36.28 meters.
    • Is currently 2nd in school history in that event.
