Women's Tennis North Division Player of the Week Kiley Rodarmel (Minnesota Morris) – Sartell, MN Rodarmel went 3-0 last week at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles. Recorded victories over Martin Luther, Crown, and Bethany Lutheran. Men's Tennis South Division Player of the Week Andres Sanchez (Greenville) – Chiapas, Mexico Sanchez was 4-0 last week at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles. Helped lead Greenville to wins over Webster and Principia. Women's Tennis South Division Player of the Week Kimbeley Peterson (Principia) – Harare, Zimbabwe Was 3-0 last week at No. 2 doubles and No. 5 singles. Undefeated in conference play in both singles and doubles. Softball Player of the Week Zoe Thomson (Wisconsin-Superior) – Le Sueur, MN Was 13-18 (.722) at the plate last week for the Yellowjackets with 17 runs batted in. Thompson helped lead UW-Superior to a 5-1 week. Softball Pitcher of the Week Kayla Senne (Bethany Lutheran) – Northwood, IA Senne tossed 2 no-hitters last week, recording a perfect 5-0 record. Struck out 31 in just 27 innings, giving up just 14 hits during that stretch. Baseball Player of the Week Howie Hatton (Crown) – North Riverside, IL Went 7-9 last week with 5 runs batted in, 2 doubles, 1 home run, 8 walks, and 9 runs scored. Hatton's .557 batting average leads all of Division III. Baseball Pitcher of the Week Matt Tappe (Wisconsin-Superior) – St. Anthony, MN Pitched a complete game, 5-hit shutout against Minnesota Morris. Tappe didn't walk anyone, and struck out 7. Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Michael Butterfield (Wisconsin-Superior) – Bovey, MN Butterfield won the 5,000 meter run on Saturday at the St. Mary's Invitational with a time of 16:23.92. Took 10th in the 1,500 meters. Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week Garrett Lynch (Wisconsin-Superior) – Portage, WI Lynch won the pole vault at the St. Mary's Invitational, registering a height of 4.00 meters. Took 8th in the long jump with a mark of 5.75 meters. Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week Halle Barker (Wisconsin-Superior) – Superior, WI Barker won the 5,000 meters on Saturday at the St. Mary's Invitational, setting a personal record with a time of 18:59.41. Her time is the fastest 5,000 meter time in the UMAC this year. Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week Abby (Nelson) Skorenkyi – Redwood Falls, MN Set a school record in the discus with a toss of 34.64 meters. Nelson's mark is the best in the UMAC this year and shatters her personal record by over 2 meters.
