Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
  • Kyle Kaemingk (Northwestern)
    • Averaged 28.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game to help lead Northwestern to two road wins over the weekend.
    • Kaemingk scored 30 points in a 96-86 win over Minnesota Morris on Friday.
 
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
  • Bailey Wynn (Northland)
    • Wynn averaged a double-double in two wins over the weekend, she averaged 22.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game.
    • Led the Lumberjills to a win over Bethany Lutheran on Friday night by recording 26 points and 15 rebounds.
 
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week
  • Earl Foster (UW-Superior)
    • Won the 60-meter hurdles at the Lake Superior Challenge on Saturday.
    • Currently leads the UMAC by nearly of a quarter second in the event.
 
Men’s Field Athlete of the Week
  • Jake Marzinske (Bethany Lutheran)
    • Took 2nd place in the triple jump at the Ted Nelson Classic as the only Division III athlete in the field.
    • Marzinske’s mark of 14.53 meters is a school record that is currently atop the UMAC.
 
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
  • Deanna Trucksess (Northwestern)
    • Set a school record in the 400 meter dash and tied a school record in the 60 meter dash on Saturday at the Gopher Classic.
    • Took 2nd place in the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.04.
 
Women’s Field Athlete of the Week
  • Stephanie Witbrod (Bethany Lutheran)
    • Took 2nd place in the triple jump by setting a school record with a mark of 11.60 meters.
    • That jump is tops in the UMAC by nearly 2 meters.
 
Men’s Tennis (North Division) Player of the Week
  • Davis Pfaff (Northwestern)
    • Won four matches on Saturday to propel Northwestern to a 2-0 start this season.
    • Pfaff won both of his number 1 doubles matches this weekend as well as both of his number 3 singles matches.
 
Men’s Tennis (South Division) Player of the Week
  • Juan Segovia (Principia)
    • Juan won both of his matches this weekend, winning 6-2, 6-1 & 6-2 in number 1 singles and 8-3 in number 1 doubles.
    • Helped lead Principia to a win over University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy on Saturday.
 
Women’s Tennis (North Division) Player of the Week
  • Taylar Smith (Northwestern)
    • Smith won her number 6 singles match for Northwestern on Saturday.
    • The senior won her opening set 7-5, dropped the 2nd set 3-6, before taking the tiebreaker 11-9 for the win.
 
Women’s Tennis (South Division) Player of the Week
  • Saray Cisneros (Principia)
    • Cisneros won both her matches this weekend to help lead the Panthers to an 8-1 victory over University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy on Saturday.
    • Cisneros won her number 2 singles match 6-2, 6-2 and winning her number 2 doubles match 8-1.
