Northwestern's Beau Burk Named to D3football.com Team of the Week
ST. PAUL, MN - D3football.com came out with their Team of the Week after an action packed week one around the world of college football. Northwestern's Beau Burk was named to the team after his stellar performance in week one against Augsburg.
The sophomore hauled in nine passes for 222 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came in the fourth quarter on an 84 reception which brought Northwestern within one possession with just over seven minutes to play. Burk is the sixth Eagle in school history to be named to the D3football.com Team of the Week and the first since the spring season in 2021.
Northwestern is on the road for the next two weeks with a couple of non-conference road trips to Wisconsin to face Concordia and UW-River Falls.
