UMAC Player of the Week Awards - Feb. 1, 2021
ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball and women's indoor track and field. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated by UMAC coaches and athletics communications/sports information staff and selected by the latter. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.
The award winners and descriptions of their accomplishments for the week are below:

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kyle Kaemingk, So., Northwestern
Woodbury, Minn./New Life Academy
- Led Northwestern to two wins on the week
- Averaged 23.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 2.0 apg
- Made 10 FG in each game and shot 69% from the field
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Emily DiGiorgio, Jr., North Central
Ironwood, Mich./Luther L. Wright
- Led North Central to two wins on the week
- Averaged 22.5 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 2.5 apg and 2.5 bpg
- Went 12-of-19 and scored 31 points in UMAC win vs. Northwestern
WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Anna Brueckner, Fy., Crown
Swanton, Vt./Homeschool
- Tallied wins in two events at opening meet Saturday
- Won the 400-meter dash (1:03.5) to rank 15th in Division III
- Set school records in 200-meter (28.6) and 400-meter events
WOMEN'S INDOOR FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jessica Bliese, Sr., Minnesota Morris
Osakis, Minn./Osakis
- Won both the shot put and weight throw at opening meet Saturday
- Tossed 11.69m (38-4.25) in shot put for 20th-best in NCAA Division III
- Weight throw of 14.06m (46-1.5) ranks 22nd nationally
