Following the cancellation of remaining spring sport seasons and tournaments and championships due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) launched the "2020 Spring Salute" as a means to honor all conference programs, coaches and student-athletes during the remainder of the 2019-20 academic year.

The UMAC would like to recognize College of St. Scholastica administrators, coaches, staff and student-athletes for their commitment to the mission, vision and core values of the conference. During this incredibly difficult time, we appreciate all that St. Scholastica leadership has done for athletics and especially spring sport student-athletes who saw their seasons end abruptly.

St. Scholastica and the UMAC would like to thank the following senior and graduating student-athletes for their dedication to their respective sports during their collegiate careers. Being a student-athlete is no easy task, but it will prepare them to go out to lead and make an incredible difference in the world. Thank you, seniors!

Below are messages from some St. Scholastica spring sport coaches to their teams and seniors:
From Softball Head Coach Rilee Dawson: "This team was incredibly special and was just beginning to realize its potential when our time was cut short. As difficult as it is to not step on the field again with this group, we take great pride in knowing its cohesiveness was largely due to the influence of our seniors."

From Men's and Women's Tennis Head Coach Wells Patten: "To the seniors, Just yesterday you were freshman, where did the time go?  On and off the court you have done some great things, you represent what a student athlete is at St. Scholastica ,hardworking, determined, driven. I'm very proud of all of you. I'm so excited to see what the future holds for you."

From Men's and Women's Track and Field Head Coach Todd Bouchie: "I am incredibly grateful I've had the honor to work with every one of you soon-to-be College of St. Scholastica graduates. I am tremendously proud of what you have accomplished as student-athletes. I wish we could spend one more season together; I'm sorry it had to end prematurely. You have helped lay a solid foundation of dedication, hard work, and success for future CSS Track and Field student-athletes. Thank you."

From Men's and Women's Golf Coach Rachel Gray: "Team, while this was not the year we expected, it was still a great start to my coaching career at CSS. Thank you all for your unending love for one other, constantly bringing a smile to my face, and for your collective drive to want to get better. I am so unbelievably proud of you, and we accomplished things we've never done before. Remember, this is only the first chapter."
