ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country and men's and women's golf. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for by UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.

FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12215Mitchell Adrian, So., St. Scholastica
Altoona, Wis./Altoona
- Tallied 10 receptions for 68 yards and a TD in win
- Added 80 rushing yards including a 70-yard TD
- Tied in Division III for total receptions (24) through two weeks



FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12216Sebastian Alvarado, Sr., Crown
Blaine, Minn./Blaine
- Led Crown defense in programs first win since 2016
- Grabbed an interception for 46-yard TD for third-career "pick-six"
- INT came in second half to start Storm's run of 20 unanswered points



FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mequon, Wis./Luther Prep
- Made four PATs in Knights' win vs. Rockford
- Recorded three punts inside Rockford 20 
- Averaged 32.8 yards on seven punts with long of 41 yards
 



VOLLEYBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Recorded 66 kills (4.4 k/s) in 3-1 week for Northwestern
- Tallied season-best 20 kills in win vs. UW-River Falls
- Hit .682 with 15 kills in conference win vs. Crown



VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12218Kennedy Geller, Fy., Minnesota Morris
Lakeville, Minn./Mankato West
- Averaged 1.24 blocks per set in five matches 
- Recorded nine blocks in five-set win over UW-Stout
- Finished week with 25 kills and 21 total blocks



VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK

- Averaged 10.93 assist/set in four-match week
- Recorded season-best 51 assists in four-set win vs. Carleton
- Posted two double-doubles with 15 digs vs. Carleton
 


MEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Led Vikings to 2-0 non-conference week 
- Scored three goals for six points on the week
- Tallied two goals including the game-winner vs. Grinnell

- Averaged 75.3 strokes per round in three rounds last week
- Carded 71 (-1) in round two of Midwest Invite to finish eighth
- Led 'Jackets to fourth-place finish out of 36 teams



WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Porcupine, S.D../Red Cloud
- Led Minnesota Morris in dual win over Martin Luther
- Finished first and five strokes ahead of the runner up
- Carded winning round of 91 (+21)
