The Knights are the first UMAC team to land in the competitive West Region top 10 since the University of Northwestern was tied for No. 9 on Nov. 4, 2016.

This season, the Knights are 7-1 overall and a perfect 6-0 in conference play. They have now won 14-straight regular season conference games after going 8-0 last year to finish as the UMAC regular season champion and earn the program's first bid to the NCAA tournament.

In conference play this fall, the Knights lead nearly every offensive category including scoring (39.2 ppg), total offense (492.8 ypg), rushing offense (338.8 ypg), touch downs (33) and total points (235). Defensively, the Knights allow a UMAC-best just 10.0 ppg and have held opponents to a best 159.8 ypg.

The Knights have an opportunity to lock up at least a share of their second-consecutive title with a win Saturday when they take on MacMurray College at 12 p.m. in Jacksonville, Illinois. They conclude the regular season Saturday, Nov. 16 at Crown College.
