UMAC Player of the Week Awards - Nov. 25, 2019
ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of men's and women's basketball. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for by UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon.
The award winners and descriptions of their accomplishments for the week are below:
MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
James Pendleton, Jr., Minnesota Morris
Redwood Falls, Minn./Redwood Valley
- Recorded a triple-double in win over Presentation
- Tallied 16 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists
- Shot 47% from the field and added three steals
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Megan Roberts, So., Northwestern
Greeley, Colo./Dayspring Christian Academy
- Led Eagles to wins over Macalester and Grinnell
- Averaged 19.0 ppg, 7.0 rpg and 2.5 apg
- Shot 67% from the field and was 3-for-4 from 3-point range
