St. Scholastica captures first UMAC Men's Cross Country Championship since 2015

SUPERIOR, Wis.---For the first time since 2015, the College of St. Scholastica won the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) men's cross country championship – and it was without much contest. The Saints recorded a team score of 19 that is the lowest in UMAC Division III era (since 2008) to win the title by 50 points Saturday.

The Saints placed five runners in the top seven and had nine individuals finish in the top 13. They also had three runners finish 1-2-3 with senior Easton Foss taking first with a time of 26:32.1. He outraced teammate Lars Dewall by .1 second as well as the 2018 champion Isaac Boedignheimer who finished third. 

The University of Wisconsin-Superior saw its championship win-streak end after taking three-straight team titles. The Yellowjackets finished second with a score of 69 points, while the University of Minnesota Morris was third with 72 points.
