ST. PAUL, Minn.--- The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its Player of the Week award winners Monday in the sports of football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer and men's and women's golf. The UMAC Player of the Week awards are nominated for by UMAC coaches and sports information directors (SIDs) and selected by SIDs. The awards are published each Monday afternoon. 

The award winners and descriptions of their accomplishments for the week are below:

FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12307Bobby Tedesco, Jr., MacMurray
Freeburg, Ill./Freeburg
- Led MacMurray to 41-20 victory over Northwestern
- Went 23-of-31 for career-high 260 yards passing and four TDs
- Added 79 yards on the ground with long run of 25 yards



FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12303Anthony Esquivel, Jr., Greenville
Rowland Heights, Calif./John A. Rowland
- Led Greenville to first shutout win in 11 years
- Recorded five tackles including 3.5 TFL
- Had one sack for loss of 12 yards



FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12305Corey Huard, Jr., Crown
Prescott, Ariz./Prescott
- Went perfect 5-for-5 on PATs in Crown win
- Averaged 52.5 yards per kickoff with one touchback
- Added an interception and three tackles defensively
 


VOLLEYBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12306Brooke Schermann, Sr., St. Scholastica
Brooklyn Park, Minn./Totino-Grace
- Led Saints to first win over Northwestern since 2011
- Recorded 15 kills in comeback win vs. Northwestern
- Finished week with 3.25 k/s and 2.00 d/s



VOLLEYBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12308Alcia Draper, Fy., St. Scholastica
Williams, Minn./Lake of the Woods
- Led Saints defensively to two UMAC wins 
- Finished with 5.38 d/s in two matches
- Tallied 29 digs in win vs. Northwestern



VOLLEYBALL SETTER OF THE WEEK
12220Sydney Schwitters, So., Northwestern
Clara City, Minn./MACCRAY
- Tallied 9.83 assists/set in three matches
- Recorded 39 assists in four-set win over No. 18 UW-Eau Claire
- Tallied two double-doubles and averaged 2.42 d/s
 


MEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12212Max Busch, Fy., Bethany Lutheran
Odenthal, Germany/Gymnasium Odenthal
- Led Bethany Lutheran in win vs. Northwestern
- Tallied four goals and one assist in the victory
- Set single season BLC record for goals and points
 


MEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
12304Jake Peterson, Jr., Minnesota Morris
Nowthen, Minn./Anoka
- Led Minnesota Morris to win vs. Bethany Lutheran
- Recorded eight saves
- Tallied first shut out of the season



WOMEN'S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Led Saints to two wins on the week
- Tallied a hattrick in key UMAC win vs. Northwestern

WOMEN'S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Tallied eight saves including seven in second half in UW-River Falls win
- Earned complete game shutout vs. UW-River Falls
- Made four saves for the win vs. Northwestern



MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK

Pine City, Minn./Pine City
- Placed 22nd in field of 446 runners at UW-Eau Claire meet
- Recorded personal-best time of 25:38 to lead the Saints
- His time is fourth-best 8,000-meter time in Saints history



WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
12075Lexi Erickson, Jr., St. Scholastica
International Falls, Minn./Falls
- Top UMAC finisher placing 33rd overall at UW-Eau Claire meet
- Recorded personal-best time of 23:24 to lead Saints
- Her time is 11th-best 6,000-meter time in program history
