Three UMAC Women's Soccer Players Earn NSCAA/NCAA North Second Team All-Region Honors
ST. PAUL -- Three women's soccer players from UMAC member-institutions were recently named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/NCAA Division III North All-Region team. 2011 represents the first time that the conference has had any selections to the all-region team.
Katie Kestner from the University of Minnesota Morris and the College of St. Scholastica's Megan Flesvig and Kelsey Kehtel all earned all-region accolades. All three were voted to the NSCAA/NCAA North Second Team. Kestner and Flesvig were two of the three defenders on the second team, while Kehtel was one of four forwards on the squad. Kehtel was one of only two freshmen honored by the NSCAA/NCAA North Region.
