Buske had a very good start to the outdoor season at the Ashton May Invite hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse on Saturday. She had an almost 3 second improvement from indoors in the 800 m with a time of 2:20.09, finishing 4th in a field of 26 competitors. She also anchored the 4 x 400 m with a split of 58 seconds.
