Skarin had a good day at the UW-Superior Yellowjacket Open on Saturday. Her 60 meter dash preliminary time of 8.27 seconds was tops among the field, but then the UNW freshman took second in the finals despite shaving three one-hundreths off of her previous time to set a new personal best of 8.24. Skarin also placed third overall in the 200 meter dash, setting another best time of 27.52 seconds.
