The College of St. Scholastica softball team used six UMAC victories in four-days time last week to wrap up its eighth-straight UMAC regular season crown Saturday. Nikki Logergren led the Saints to success with a 8-of-15 week at the plate with all eight of her hits counting for extra bases. The senior scored nine times and drove in 10 RBI including six in a win over Bethany Lutheran College Thursday. She tallied three home runs and five doubles in the six-game span to finish with a .533 average and 1.467 slugging percentage. The Saints claimmed the No. 1 seed in the UMAC tournament and the right to host in Duluth. They will face the winner of Tuesday's play-in game for a 4 p.m. matchup Thursday.
