Chrisi Mizera picked up her second-straight weekly honor after leading the College of St. Scholastica to its eighth-consecutive conference championship Saturday. The junior hurler threw two complete games and earned three victories on the mound last week. Over the course of 17 innings, Mizera allowed just two earned runs and struck out 24 batters. The reigning UMAC Player of the Year ended her four games with a 0.82 ERA. She also added to the Saints success at the plate with four hits, two home runs and five RBI. Mizera and the Saints open the conference tournament on their home field Thursday at 4 p.m. against the winner of Tuesday's play-in game.
