The Crown College baseball team earned a huge split with Northland College Saturday to keep a glimmer of postseason hope alive heading into the final week of play. The Storm needed a huge performance from Daryl Taylor to pull off the feat, though. Taylor went 4-for-7 in the series and drew two walks in the process. He ended the games with five runs scored, two doubles, a triple and one RBI. The senior boasted a .700 on base percentage and 1.143 slugging percentage. Taylor and Crown wrap up the season against Martin Luther College at home Wednesday before facing the College of St. Scholastica on the road Saturday.
