The University of Northwestern-St. Paul baseball team's incredible season continued last week with a sweep of University of Wisconsin-Superior Tuesday and a split with St. Scholastica Saturday to remain atop the UMAC standings. Benjamin Jenney was key to the Eagles' success earning the win in a 6-3 decision over the Yellowjackets and hurling two shutout innings over the Saints. Against Wisconsin-Superior, Jenney threw 8.2 innings and struck out two batters. He ended the week with three strikeouts in the win over the Saints for a 2.53 earned run average (ERA) on the week. The Eagles locked up a postseason spot Saturday and will look for a share of the title with four games left this week.
