Kevin Wagner has set out to make his final track and field season with the College of St. Scholastica his best yet setting the tone for the end of the year by placing second in the decathlon at the University of Wisocnsin-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge Saturday. The senior won both the 110-meter high hurdles and the javelin events to finish with a two-day total of 6,531 points which ranks fourth best in Division III this season. Wagner finished behind Ethen Schoen of the University of Wisconsin-Stout who ranks first in the nation. Wagner's is first in three events in the UMAC this season. Wagner and the Saints compete at the famous Drake Relays this weekend.
