The University of Northwestern-St. Paul had a big week in softball scoring three wins out of its four games played against Crown College and North Central University, and no player had a bigger week than Ellen Larkin. The junior went 8-of-14 at the plate last week scoring eight runs and tallying four RBI. She ended the four-game stand with a .714 slugging percentage and .625 on base percentage. Larkin leads the UMAC in on base (.507) and also ranks fourth this season for average (.411) and slugging (.638), while her RBI (12) and hits (23) rank seventh. Northwestern returns to acttion Wednesday against Bethany Lutheran College and against Northland College Saturday.
