The College of St. Scholastica baseball team faced its toughest test of the season so far tagainst national runner-up University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Austin Colvard earned UMAC Player of the Week for the second-straight time after leading the Saints to a huge 12-8 win Sunday. Colvard went 4-for-5 in the win with three RBI, a triple and one run scored. He finished the three-game stand with six hits, four RBI, a .429 average and a solid .643 slugging percentage. This season, Colvard continues to lead the UMAC in average (.516) and hits (32). The Saints open conference play Saturday with a doubleheader on the road against the University of Minnesota Morris.
