The College of St. Scholastica baseball team has been off to a hot start this season with the league's leading hitter Austin Colvard setting the standard for success at the plate. The senior went 15-of-23 (.652) last week collecting three doubles, one triple and six RBI. Over that stretch, he had four games with three hits or more and extended his hitting streak to 19-straight games dating back to last season. This year, colvard leads the UMAC in average (.542), hits (26), doubles (5) and on-base percentage (.566). Colvard and the Saints warm up for UMAC play hosting three games this weekend against 2015 Division III runner-up University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
