The St. Scholastica softball team earned a solid 1-1 split with Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) powerhouse Bethel University Sunday with an impressive 7-0 win in the opener and a narrow 4-2 loss in game two. Reigning UMAC Player of the Year Mizera showed no letting up as she led the Saints in the series hitting 4-of-7 from the plate with four RBI. In the opening win, she picked up two hits including a two-RBI homer in the top of the seventh. Mizera then followed up in the second matchup with an RBI single and a solo homer. She also collected three runs and earned a pitching victory in game one. The Saints get an extended break before beginning spring break games March 18 in Clermont, Florida.
