Ruehl won the long jump event at the Warren Bowlus Open this weekend, besting all competitors in DII, DIII and NAIA with a jump of 5.37-meters (17-feet 7.5 inches). The jump, which is a new personal record for Ruehl, places Ruehl as the 20th ranked long jumper in the nation at the DIII level and puts her at the top of the UMAC standings. Ruehl also finished third in the 60-meter hurdle preliminaries, coming in with a time of 9.67, placing her only behind two DII athletes.
